
Sheikh Dr. Majed Bin Saeed Bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the Amiri Diwan in Ajman, inaugurated the exhibition of Creative Spaces in support for the orphans for the 6th session 2010. The event took place at Human Appeal International headquarter in Ajman with the participation of 170 orphans representing 7 countries: the UAE, Senegal, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon and Sudan.
His highness was greeted upon his arrival by HAI secretary general, His Excellency Salem Al-Naimi who accompanied him in a tour through the exhibition. During his visit, Sheikh Dr. Majed Bin Saeed Bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi has listened to an explanation presented by Badria Al-Mutwa, the chairperson of HAI Women Committee and the supervisor on the exhibition organization. In relation to this, H.H expressed his appreciation for the great efforts exerted to reflect that actual remarkable image in the 6th session 2012.
On this occasion, Sheikh Dr. Majed Bin Saeed Bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the Amiri Diwan in Ajman, said: “the United Arab Emirates led by H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan- may Allah protect him- in compliance to the directions of H.H Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi is keen to pay the orphans inside and outside the UAE their attention. This can be figured out through its constant directions to the necessity to provide for their requirements besides the need to be integrated in the society. Thus, it gained a considerable international respect. We appreciate the work of HAI and confirm that organizing such an exhibition is a pioneering initiative that paves the achievement of this important goal.”
His Excellency Salem Al-Naimi, HAI secretary general, said: “Creative Spaces is organized, in its 6th session in sequence, to assure HAI’s keenness to carry out the official directions concerning orphans’ sponsorship. To do so, the Women Committee has exerted a striking effort to attract the participation of 250 orphans in several creative fields. It is our pleasure to praise the generous auspices of Sheikh Dr. Majed Bin Saeed Bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the Amiri Diwan in Ajman, because it was the reason behind its success. In fact, this would double our responsibility to carry out HAI’s plans and projects in support for the orphans”.
At the end of the event, Sheikh Dr. Majed Bin Saeed Bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi visited the administration of childhood and orphans as well as the administration of programs and projects. H.H was briefed about HAI’s various adopted strategies to deal with childhood and orphans from one side and the programs and projects from the other bearing in mind that HAI is planning to work through its educational, health, social programs, during the current year, at its 14 offices.
To add, the competition of Creative Spaces includes various domains: literary creativity (writing letters, poetry, short stories, illustrated short stories for children), art creativity (drawing, handiwork, collage art, photography), IT and computer creativity (designing presentations, an image using design programs, web page design), media creativity (promising broadcaster, children comedy, promising trainer, places and cities from my country), in addition to the competition of the distinguished orphan that includes: a distinguished project presented from one of our offices besides the distinguished supervisor award.
