HAI has concluded its campaign "Winter-Clothing" under the motto "let us make them warm". In this event, HAI distributed "winter-bags" which manifests its primary charitable initiatives for 2012. The activity backed up 1100 beneficiaries. In doing so, HAI cooperated with Ajman municipality and fishermen association in Ajman.
HAI chose special places to carry out its campaign such as: municipality labor accommodation-Ajman and the fish market-Ajman where the addressed sector in need exists. The aim of this campaign is to support these people through providing for their requirements during winter. Those bags contain blankets, coats, gloves and so on.
In this regard, Abdullah Al-Awadi said: “responding to the humanitarian tendencies that characterize the UAE, HAI distributed winter-bags amongst workers in Ajman and it is about executing other plans to back up this feeble sector”.
Al-Awadi added: “we were delighted to carry out this crucial initiative and we praise the great role that was played by our partners: the municipality of Ajman and fishermen association. We confirm that the concern to the labor and their requirements is one way that leads to the application of the guidance founded by the leaders of this country. Thus, our country is one of the countries where workers enjoy different conditions of support”.
It is worth noting that the workers of the municipality and in the fish market have greatly appreciated the initiative and evaluated highly HAI’s role to provide for the crucially needed winter requirements in the right time. They considered the execution of the camping as a kind act that contributes to alleviate their suffering. To add, it strengthens the social fabric in a way that care for the cooperation between individuals in a community that provides for their requirements
Human Appeal International- Ajman is keen to carry out a package of plans consecutively as a start in 2012 in accordance to its strategic plan. Further, HAI concluded 2011 by winning many prizes and different tributes in general, and the last was Sharjah Prize for voluntary work 2011 in particular.
